Inspectors are the investigative arm of the DA's office, Moschetti explained. Most inspectors are assigned to two prosecutors in the office, but Moschetti is not assigned to Hora.

Bonds is indicted on five counts

Former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, who is investigating drug use in baseball, declined comment. So did Hall of Fame vice president Jeff Idelson. Bonds finished last season with 762 career home runs, seven more than Aaron. A seven-time NL MVP, he also holds the season record with 73 home runs in 2001. He is a free agent after being told late in the season that the Giants didn't want him back next year. Bonds was charged in the indictment with lying when he said he didn't knowingly take steroids given to him by Anderson. Bonds also is charged with lying that Anderson never injected him with steroids. Prosecutors promised Bonds they wouldn't charge him with any drug-related counts if he testified truthfully.

The report shows that the majority of U.S. estuaries assessed are highly influenced by human-related activities and points out that eutrophication is a widespread problem globally. "Observations have confirmed that our nation’s coastal waters are stressed," said retired Navy Vice Adm.
Martin leads Devils past Hurricanes 6-1
